History Ultimate Signs History
This family run business was set up in 1991 in Hungerford, Berkshire, by Jeremy Reay.
Jeremy was one of the few traditional sign writers painting signs by hand. From the age of 14 he went up to Scotland to visit friends and sign wrote their Bakery vans using his raw self taught skills.
At 16 he took up an apprenticeship with Andover based Sign-writer called Richard Barnfather; it was through Richard's tutorage that he crafted his skill in brushwork.
After two years it was time to start out on his own. Jeremy's talent in crafting beautifully traditional & unique signs paved the way to a bright future.
From these humble beginnings the business took off and expanded and ultimately moved into the digital era of PC based equipment. The rest they say is history....
